NESS International Contact Persons
NESS International Contact Person (ICP) is the person who support Haikou Initiative and willing to bring the NESS concept to his/her country via working the NESS ISN closely.
If there isn’t an ICP for your country (please check the table below) yet, and you are interested in serving as the ICP for your country, please feel free to contact us at: NESSISN@ness.link
The work of ICP is quite simple and there are some ICPs already made good progresses, such as Uganda, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Macedonia. Such progresses will not only benefit people in their countries but also bring new opportunities for these ICPs as well. We recommend the following easy steps for ICPs to take:
1.Develop your country version Initiative based on Haikou Initiative (and translate it into your own language).
2.Distribute the Initiative among experts you know via emails, meetings or other ways, and ask them if they support it or not.
3.Maintain the list of supporters and send to us the updates.
Considering the serious ecological crisis won’t be reversed by research of a few scientist groups or a few organizations, ICPs shall not spend time to discuss how to conduct NESS research during the Phase 1 (above figure). By the time reached to the Phase 2, there would be sufficient supporters from multiple disciplines to discuss about how to develop the NESS National Research Center. And then get into the Phase 3 of conducting comprehensive research and collaboration among many different disciplines at home and internationally.
